Tournament & Ranked Campaign Rules

Last updated: August 16, 2026

These Rules govern Tournaments and the Ranked Campaign in OMEN: Last Bastion. They are incorporated into our Terms of Service. The exact entry cost, attempt limits, prize eligibility, and payout information for each event are always shown in-game before you enter. Where a specific event's in-game details differ from these Rules, the in-game details for that event control.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and eligible to participate under applicable law. Paid competitions may be unavailable in some jurisdictions. You must use a single, authentic OMEN account; multi-accounting, collusion, and coordinated play to influence standings or pools are prohibited.

2. Contest of Skill

Tournaments and the Ranked Campaign are contests of skill. Placement is determined solely by performance — waves survived, enemies defeated, and score achieved. There are no chance-based payouts, raffles, or lotteries.

3. Server-Issued Seeds and Fair Conditions

Every scored run plays on a server-issued seed: one seed per tournament window, and a fresh seed each UTC day for Ranked Campaign runs — so all competitors in an event face comparable, standard conditions. Permanent upgrades (Perk Lab, Doctrine) and in-run purchases apply in every scored mode — Ranked, Tournaments, Leagues and the Monthly War alike — on the identical server-issued run. Revives are disabled in all scored modes.

4. Tournaments — Attempts and Re-Entry

Tournaments run on daily, weekly, and monthly cadences, each in OMEN divisions with their own entry, field, and prize pool. Your entry includes your first scored attempt, and your best (top) score within the event is your rank. If you have used your attempts, you may buy additional attempts for a reduced re-entry fee, up to the event's attempt cap:

Re-entry fees join the same prize pool for that event.

Leagues. The Veteran, Elite and Apocalypse Leagues are weekly paid events (250, 1,000 and 5,000 OMEN respectively) that run on the tournament rules above with three differences: one entry covers the whole week — Veteran 21 scored runs, Elite 2 scored runs per UTC day (14), Apocalypse 1 per UTC day (7) — your top score is your rank, and there is no re-entry; league scoring lifts the per-component ceilings of the standard formula and adds an escalating per-wave depth bonus (published in-game before entry); permanent Perk Lab power and in-run OMEN purchases apply, as in the Ranked Campaign; and each league plays a longer, harder run on its own map — 60, 80 and 100 waves, with map hazards stacked (one, two, then all three), the Tier 2 roster arriving from wave 10, 5 and 1, and no draft rerolls of any kind in the Apocalypse League. Entries priced above the single-purchase limit are charged as a sequence of fixed-price units after you confirm the full amount; nothing is registered until the full amount has been paid. There are no revives in any scored mode.

5. Ranked Campaign — Cumulative Weekly Seasons

The Ranked Campaign runs as a unified weekly season with a single ranking. Entry is free, and you may play up to 3 scored runs per UTC day — there are no paid extra runs; every player competes on the same free daily budget. Your best run each day counts toward your season total, and those daily bests add up across the season — rewarding consistent, skilled play. Unused daily runs do not carry over; a new daily budget unlocks at 00:00 UTC. Season prize pools are denominated in OMEN, as shown on the in-game standings.

6. Scoring and Validation

Scores are computed and validated server-side. Client-reported scores never settle money — a run must pass server validation on its issued seed and run token before it can rank or pay. Runs that fail validation, exceed plausibility limits, or violate these Rules may be voided.

7. Prize Pools and Payouts

Each event's paid ranks and prize eligibility are shown in-game before you enter. Prize pools may scale with eligible participation and are not final until the event is officially locked and settled. Winners are paid in the event's own currency — OMEN — securely after settlement; OMEN prizes settle on-chain automatically at close. Ties are broken in favor of the earliest qualifying submission.

8. Anti-Cheat and Disqualification

Use of bots, automation, injected code, seed or token manipulation, exploits, multi-accounting, or collusion is prohibited. We may suspend runs, void scores, withhold or claw back prizes, and suspend or terminate accounts for suspected violations, subject to anti-cheat and account-standing review. Our integrity decisions are final.

9. Cancellation, Pause, and Beta

The competitive system is in active beta. Competitive lanes may be shown in preview mode or temporarily paused during staged rollout, and formats, caps, fees, and payout structures may change. If an event is cancelled before settlement due to a technical fault, we will act reasonably and in good faith regarding affected entries.

10. Taxes and Compliance

You are responsible for any taxes on winnings and for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction. Payouts may be subject to eligibility verification, anti-cheat review, account standing, age and location restrictions, and applicable law.

11. Disputes and Changes

Questions or disputes about an event should be raised through the official OMEN support channels linked in-game promptly after the event. We may update these Rules from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.

12. Where the Money Goes

We publish the full split of every prize pool. These percentages are read from the same configuration the settlement engine uses, and this page changes whenever they do.

Tournaments (paid entry): every entry pool is split 72% to winners, 5% to the War Chest (the Monthly War prize pool), 20% to game development and operations, and 3% OMEN platform fee.

Leagues (paid entry): a league's weekly pool is fed by its entry fees and by every OMEN purchase made during a league run, and settles on exactly the tournament split above — 72% to winners across the top 10, 5% to the War Chest, 20% to development and operations, 3% OMEN platform fee.

Ranked Campaign (free entry): Ranked costs nothing to enter — every player gets 3 free scored runs per UTC day. The weekly prize pool is funded from a share of upgrade purchase revenue, not from player entry fees. 62% of that pool funds player prizes (49.6% of the pool is paid out at the end of each weekly season and 12.4% rolls over to seed the next season's pool), 5% funds the War Chest (the Monthly War prize pool), 30% funds development and operations, and 3% is the OMEN platform fee.

The War Chest: the 5% War Chest slice from every pool accrues into one chest per currency, and that chest is the Monthly War prize pool — 100% of it goes to players. Each month's War pays the top 10 from the chest, and whatever remains compounds into the next month's chest. None of this slice goes to the developer or the platform.

Staff play: accounts on staff wallets are labeled STAFF on all in-game leaderboards and are ineligible for prize payouts. This covers tournaments, the Ranked Campaign, the Monthly War and community giveaways. In tournaments and Ranked, any share a staff account would otherwise win is redistributed to the remaining ranked players at settlement. In giveaways, staff wallets are removed from the field before the draw is shuffled, and the payout rail refuses a staff wallet independently of the draw.

Correction, 16 Aug 2026: staff exclusion was enforced for tournaments and Ranked from 14 Aug 2026, but was not wired into the giveaway draw until 16 Aug 2026. During that window a studio wallet entered one community giveaway and was eligible to win it. That giveaway's draw was never recorded — a separate bug fixed the same day — so we cannot state its outcome either way, and we are not going to guess. No staff wallet has been paid a giveaway prize; every giveaway payout on record went to a non-staff wallet. The eligibility gap itself is closed in code, and we are noting it here rather than quietly fixing it, because a rules page that only records the rules it never broke is not worth reading.

Entering a tournament or achieving a ranking does not guarantee winnings, profit, prize recovery, or any financial return. Prize pools are not final until officially locked and settled. Never spend more than you can afford to lose.
