This Privacy Policy explains what information OMEN: Last Bastion (the "Game," "we," "us") collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Game, its website, and related services. By using the Services you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account and identity data — your OMEN user identifier, profile name, and public wallet address, provided through OMEN authentication when you sign in.
- Gameplay data — campaign progress, competition entries, runs, scores, standings, in-game currency and item balances, quests, and results.
- Transaction data — records of entries, purchases, payouts, and related on-chain references. On-chain data is public and immutable by nature.
- Technical data — device and browser type, IP-derived region, session identifiers, and diagnostic logs used for security, anti-cheat, and reliability.
- Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and to operate the Services (see Section 5).
We do not ask for or store your seed phrase or private keys, and we never request a direct wallet signature or your Discord password on our sign-in page.
2. How We Use Information
- to authenticate you and operate your account and game sessions;
- to run the campaign, tournaments, the Ranked Campaign, scoring, settlement, and payouts;
- to enforce fair play, detect cheating and fraud, and secure the Services;
- to maintain records required for competition integrity and legal compliance;
- to improve the Game and provide support; and
- to communicate important service, security, or policy updates.
3. Legal Bases
Where required by law (for example, under the GDPR), we process personal data on the bases of performing our contract with you (operating the Services), our legitimate interests (security, anti-cheat, and improving the Game), your consent (where requested, such as certain cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the Services:
- OMEN platform — to authenticate you, verify balances, and process on-chain competition activity and payouts;
- Service providers — hosting, infrastructure, analytics, and security vendors acting on our instructions;
- Blockchain networks — transactions and certain records are recorded on public ledgers and cannot be deleted or altered;
- Legal and safety — where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Services and our users.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Game, including in embedded (iframe) contexts. We may use limited analytics to understand aggregate usage and improve reliability. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or gameplay. Some embedding platforms may set their own cookies and analytics governed by their policies.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain competition and financial integrity, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. On-chain records are permanent by the nature of the blockchain and are outside our control.
7. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including server-authoritative validation and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA), among others, may have specific rights. To exercise them, contact us through the official OMEN support channels. We will respond as required by applicable law. Note that we cannot alter or erase data recorded on public blockchains.
9. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Third-Party Links and Platforms
The Services may link to or be embedded within third-party platforms (including the OMEN portal). Their handling of your information is governed by their own policies, which we do not control.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
